Experienced Dental Assistant to Cover Maternity Leave until Mid November

We are a busy and growing Dental Office with an immediate opening for a full time dental assistant. Experience in dental field is required and we will train the right person where needed. We are an EOE.

*Primary Job Duties Include*

Assist with dental treatments as instructed
Take and record dental histories and patient records
Prepare instruments, clean treatment areas, and sterilize equipment
Front office support, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, and taking payments as needed
Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat, organized, and ready
Be computer savvy and willing to learn digital x-rays (Schick), Eaglesoft, and CEREC
*Ideal Candidate*

Experience with CEREC, cosmetic dentistry, and surgery.

Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
Strong Organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it.
Must be articulate and service-oriented
Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
Reliable and prompt, available for at least 35 hours per week/or for the following schedule: Monday - Thursday
Works well in a team, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of others
Willingness to travel with Team offsite for continuing education

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:

Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required)
