Dental Hygienist Mentor - Clinical & Leadership Role

We are seeking a Hygiene Mentor—a unique hybrid role for a licensed hygienist who will balance clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities. This position is designed for someone who not only wants to deliver outstanding hygiene care, but also has the vision and drive to elevate an entire hygiene department.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Mentor – Guide, coach, and develop a team of hygienists to reach their full clinical and professional potential.
• Build Systems & Strategy – Take ownership of the hygiene department’s SOPs, including verbiage, patient communication, treatment planning, clinical flow, and overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with Leadership – Meet regularly with the Executive Team to align on growth strategy, profitability, KPIs, and future opportunities.
• Advance Clinical Excellence – Support our focus areas including myofunctional therapy, pediatric and adult airway, joint/TMJ care, and restorative/cosmetic dentistry.
• Balance Clinical & Administrative – Split time between providing direct patient care and managing the systems, strategy, and team development that keep hygiene thriving.

What We’re Looking For:
• Licensed hygienist with proven leadership experience—ideally supervising and mentoring hygienists or managing teams of 7–10 individuals.
• Strong grasp of business fundamentals: P&L, metrics, KPIs, and profitability.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to create clarity, consistency, and accountability across a team.
• Passion for innovation in dentistry and familiarity with advanced care areas (airway, myofunctional therapy, TMJ, cosmetics).
• A leader who inspires trust, collaboration, and growth.
