LOCATION
York, PA

Join Our Family-Oriented Dental Team as a Dental Hygienist!

Are you a passionate and dedicated dental hygienist looking to join a supportive team in a family-friendly environment? We are a small, general dental office committed to providing exceptional care to our patients, many of whom have been with us for years. Our hygienist of 30 years has retired, so we are looking to find someone who fits the bill to become part of our close-knit family.

In our practice, we prioritize patient-centered care and strive to create a comfortable atmosphere where patients feel at home. Our aim is to build long-term relationships with patients while delivering personalized treatment tailored to individual needs. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, and your expertise will play a vital part in our patients’ journey toward achieving healthy, confident smiles.

As a dental hygienist, you will utilize your skills in calculus removal, cavity prevention, and patient education. You will be responsible for conducting thorough dental cleanings, gingivitis screenings, and oral cancer screenings. Proficiency in both traditional and digital tools, like Curve DMS and digital X-rays, will be essential as you work closely with patients.

Key responsibilities include:
- Performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and providing tailored recommendations
- Monitoring vital signs and maintaining accurate dental charting
- Management of patient recall systems to ensure consistent follow-up care

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 4 weeks of paid vacation, a 401K plan with a 3% match, and annual contributions toward wellness, uniforms, and charitable initiatives. Additionally, we provide $500 annually for continuing education to support your ongoing professional development.

This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of up to $43, with compensation negotiable based on experience. A flexible one to three day work schedule within our hours of Monday (8:00 am-6:30pm), Wednesday (8:00 am-6pm), and Thursday (7:20 am-4:30pm). Ideally, 16-26.5 hours per week with a one-hour lunch break each day. Adult patients are typically scheduled for 50-60 minutes and pediatric patient appointments generally 20-30 minutes, with additional time provided as needed based on individual assessment and treatment needs.
If you are a compassionate, skilled dental hygienist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply. Join our team and help us deliver high-quality dental services while building meaningful, lasting relationships within our community.

Please call or email the office to apply.
Please provide a resume if you have one.

I know what it’s like to work for a bad practice. I feel like I wasted 4 years of my professional life. A classmate told me about Cloud Dentistry. In the past 8 months, I have worked in numerous practices, had better instrumentation to practice my craft, and have felt a great sense of respect. It’s amazing to feel free again while earning more money.

I really like the rating system for both the provider and the office so that it provides a brief snapshot of the level of service provided.

I wish I had the option of putting more stars, as I don't think 5 is enough! I can’t thank Cloud Dentistry enough for all the work it's provided me. I love utilizing the user-friendly platform to create my own schedule. The offices I've worked for have been great and I truly do not see myself using any other platform out there. Thank you Cloud Dentistry for helping make my professional future one I'm so proud of. I will be recommending Cloud Dentistry to all of my dental professional friends and family!
