Job Posting: Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in a private dental practice specializing in General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry. This is a part-time position that offers a supportive and professional environment, allowing you to flourish while providing exceptional care to our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing all hygienist duties, including patient education, periodontal assessments, and the provision of prophylaxis treatments. Your expertise in fluoride treatments, pit and fissure sealants, and digital radiography will be invaluable as you work closely with our dental team to create high-quality treatment plans tailored to our patients' unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventative care.
- Perform dental charting and assist in the management of patient records using Eaglesoft and Carestream.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology, including CAD/CAM and intraoral cameras, to enhance patient experience and outcome.
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team in a four-handed dentistry environment.
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, contributing to a seamless workflow within the practice.

Qualifications:
- A valid Dental Hygiene license and a strong background in both general and orthodontic dental practices.
- Bilingual proficiency is highly preferred to better cater to our diverse patient base.
- Proficiency in various dental technologies, including Schick digital X-ray systems and laser dentistry techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages.

Our practice is fully equipped with the latest PPE, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex and nitrile gloves, N95 masks, and respirator masks, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patients.
