We have an immediate opening for a motivated and skilled dental assistant to join our thriving oral surgery practice. Our facility specializes in various procedures, including the placement of dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, sedation, biopsies, and more, all within a tranquil, spa-like environment that emphasizes quality care.
As a key member of our team, you will utilize the latest digital technology in your daily tasks. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in dental assisting, boasting exceptional organizational, communication, and computer skills. You should demonstrate critical thinking, attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Taking digital X-rays and scans
- Assisting with oral surgery procedures and sedation cases
- Ensuring proper sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of operatories
- Completing medical history forms and documenting vital signs
- Providing pre and post-operative care instructions
- Understanding health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- One year of dental assisting experience is required
- X-ray certification in the state of Maryland is mandatory
- CPR certification is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
