Role Overview
The Front Office / Treatment Coordinator role serves as the primary patient communication hub of the practice.
This role combines front desk responsibilities with treatment coordination, helping patients understand their treatment options, navigate insurance coverage, and schedule appointments.
The ideal candidate is friendly, confident communicating with patients, and comfortable helping patients move forward with recommended care.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance verification
Treatment Coordination
Present treatment plans to patients
Explain treatment recommendations in a clear, supportive way
Front Office Operations
Answer incoming patient calls
Greet patients and manage check-in process
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Maintain efficient daily schedules
Help patients understand insurance coverage and financial options
Conduct follow-up calls for pending treatment
Patient Communication
Build trust with patients
Address patient questions about treatment or insurance
Help guide patients through next steps for care
Insurance Support
Understand basic insurance coverage considerations
Help patients understand treatment estimates
Coordinate with the Office Manager on complex insurance questions
Qualifications
Preferred:
Insurance knowledge
Dental front office or treatment coordination experience
Strong patient communication skills
Basic understanding of dental insurance
Comfortable presenting treatment plans
