Sterilization Technician

Job description:
We are currently searching for an entry-level sterilization technician for our dental practice! The candidate for this part-time position will be responsible for helping maintain a sterile dental environment.

Duties/ Responsibilities -
- Appropriately clean dental chair, sinks, counter tops, and floors.
- Helps flip rooms and keep the schedule moving efficiently.
- Maintain inventory supply.
- Clean, lubricate, and sterilize handpieces and instruments upon completion of the procedure.
- Maintain and clean the autoclave based on the manufacturer's instructions.
- Maintains professional demeanor in all interactions with patients and staff.
- Adapts to changes in the work environment.
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record.
- Participates in staff development and meetings.
- Consistently works positively and cooperatively with other employees.
- Values and incorporates the contributions of people from diverse backgrounds; demonstrates respect for the opinions and ideas of others.
- Shares information and own expertise with others to enable them to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Assist other team members in the performance of their assignments.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
