Dental Assistant

Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our clinical team in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, a commitment to infection control, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during various procedures using efficient four-handed dentistry techniques.
Sterilization: Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to all infection control protocols.
Radiography: Perform medical imaging tasks (X-rays) while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Patient Coordination: Schedule appointments and manage patient flow, stepping in as a dental receptionist when needed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate dental records and manage patient files in full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Administrative Support: Assist the team with administrative tasks, including managing patient records via Eaglesoft software.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a significant plus.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Must be highly organized and detail-oriented to ensure clinical precision.
Certifications: RDA license or we can help you get cerifitied as well.
