Dental Treatment Coordinator

Established local Periodontist, seeks exceptional communicator and leader of our dynamic team, in a modern, state of the art private practice. We seeking a skilled, experienced top performing Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team and help guide our patients, collect, schedule, and warmly embrace them through the process of medically necessary treatment.
Our Periodontal Surgical practice specializing in successful minimally invasive techniques in Dental Implants, oral surgery and gum/bone grafting, and advanced Laser dentistry,
Responsibilities:
• Educate patients on their dental treatment options and
procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments to ensure efficient
patient flow.
• Prepare and use your years of experience to explain treatment plans, including costs and
payment options, along with collections of cases over $20,000 or more daily, in a fee for service environment.
• Work closely, use reminders for follow up and follow through with the dental team to
provide exceptional, successful patient care.
• Manage time efficiently, and delegate items like insurance patient inquiries and concerns in a professional calm and considerate manner, with the follow through in an
empathetic, supportive, health first manner.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience as
a dental treatment coordinator, with a track record of
verifiable success.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, surgical
procedures, and training to discuss dental insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with our patients and the owners.
• Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Above Average, use of the English language both written
and verbal.
• College Grad preferred, High school diploma ok with 7 years
experience as a Treatment Coordinator, or equivalent; additional certification
in dental assisting, Dental Hygiene, Foreign Dentist,
sales, or Team and Dental office management is a plus.
