Dental Assitant
LOCATION
Ridgewood, NJWe are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our general dentistry practice. Our office has proudly served the community for 55 years and is committed to delivering high-quality care to every patient we see. This position is available due to the retirement of our current dental assistant, and we are looking for a dependable, compassionate professional to continue supporting our team and patients.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a dental office and must hold an X-ray license. Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking radiographs, maintaining accurate records, and helping create a welcoming, organized environment for patients. A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to work well with others are essential.
We provide a supportive workplace with on-site parking, a 1-hour lunch break, and the personal protective equipment needed to help keep our team safe, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.
Benefits include vacation and sick PTO, 401k, a 3% 401k contribution, profit sharing, and dental care. Compensation starts at $20+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
