We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to become an integral part of our single-doctor, private dental practice. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a warm and welcoming environment. As a part of our professional team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the oral health of our diverse patient base, which includes both general patients and those with special needs.
Position Overview:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks that enhance our patients’ dental experience. Your primary duties will include conducting thorough oral examinations, cleaning teeth, placing sealants, providing patient education on good oral hygiene practices and assisting with implant dentistry procedures. Your ability to effectively communicate with patients, especially those with unique needs, will be essential in fostering trust and comfort within our practice.
Work Environment:
Our office operates with a focus on delivering personalized dental care while maintaining a family-oriented atmosphere. We work Monday through Thursday with every other Monday off, providing a healthy work-life balance for our team members. We do occasionally work some Fridays those will be known in advance. Our office hours are from 7:15 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for ample time to unwind and recharge after a fulfilling day.
Qualifications:
- A valid dental hygiene license and a degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution.
- A strong desire to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that reflect a kind and friendly demeanor, enabling you to connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Basic knowledge of implant dentistry and experience working with special needs patients is a plus.
