PART-TIME RDH NEEDED

We are seeking a dedicated dental hygienist to join a patient-focused dental office that serves a diverse community and values high-quality preventive care. This full-time role is ideal for a professional who is committed to supporting oral health, educating patients, and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.

In this position, you will provide comprehensive hygiene services in a general dentistry setting within a single-doctor practice that includes Medicaid patients. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and is able to deliver respectful, compassionate care to every patient. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role involves building trust, reinforcing home-care habits, and helping patients better understand their oral health needs.

Key responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and routine preventive procedures, as well as taking and reviewing dental radiographs as appropriate. You will also complete oral health assessments, document findings accurately, and assist in identifying conditions that may require further treatment. Patient education is a central part of this role, including instruction on brushing, flossing, nutrition, and the connection between oral and overall health. Collaboration with the doctor and clinical team will be important to ensure smooth daily operations and high standards of care.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent chairside manner, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment. Experience working in a general practice is preferred, and familiarity with Medicaid-supported care is a plus. A college-level background in dental hygiene and the appropriate licensure required to practice are expected.

This office is committed to maintaining a safe clinical setting and provides the following personal protective equipment: disposable gowns, face shields, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Candidates should be comfortable following infection-control protocols and using PPE consistently to support the health and safety of patients and team members.
