New York, NYBright Healthy Smiles is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric dental team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families, values preventative care, and is committed to providing gentle, high-quality hygiene services in a fun and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform pediatric dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and preventive treatments
Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
Take and review dental radiographs
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventative care
Identify periodontal concerns and communicate findings to the dentist
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Follow all infection control and safety guidelines
Help create a positive and stress-free experience for pediatric patients
Qualifications
Active New York State Dental Hygienist license required
Pediatric or family dentistry experience preferred
Strong knowledge of preventive dental care and child development
Excellent chairside manner with children and parents
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality patient care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
