Dental Hygienist

Friendly dental office looking for a hygienist to join us every Monday and Wednesday, 8am–5pm.

We are a well-established general dental practice, known for our commitment to providing exceptional care and maintaining a family-like atmosphere. As we prepare for the retirement of our beloved dental hygienist, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled dental hygienist to join our team in a part-time capacity.

In this role, you will work closely with our patients, typically spending at least one hour with each individual, ensuring a personalized and thorough dental experience. We value the connection we establish with our patients and are seeking someone who shares our passion for providing top-tier care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments, including Prophy, SRP, perio maintenance and fluoride treatments.
- Take X-rays and conduct periodontal charting, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Sterilize instruments and uphold strict adherence to infection control protocols.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and documentation efficiently.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a dental hygienist is required.
- Proficient in the essential skills listed above, demonstrating a clear understanding of dental hygiene practices.

Our dental office operates on a PPO and private practice model, allowing us to cater to a diverse patient base. What We Offer:
- Competitive compensation at $50 per hour.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) of 2 hours accrued every 2 weeks, with a maximum of 52 hours per year.
