Dental Assistant - Lead

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our small, fee-for-service General Dental practice. Our office emphasizes a patient-centered approach, focusing on implants and comprehensive dentistry. This full-time role, Monday to Thursday, requires a dedicated professional who is reliable, timely and a team player.

As a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include chairside assisting, operatory setup and breakdown, sterilization, inventory management, and performing various dental procedures. Proficiency in skills such chart notes, taking alginate impressions, and infection control is vital. You will also assist with procedures like crowns, bridges, root canals, and various surgical procedures including extractions, bone grafting, and implant placement.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience and be comfortable using modern dental technology, such as digital X-rays, scanners, and intraoral cameras. While cross-training will be minimal, a professional phone voice is desired for those instances when help with calls is needed.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32-39/hour, with the potential for a salaried position being negotiable.
