Who We Are
At Oaks Point Pediatric Dentistry, we believe every child’s smile has the power to take flight. We’re a privately-owned, high-energy pediatric dental office that’s all about positivity, compassion, and creating unforgettable dental experiences for our patients — from toddlers to teens.
We’re a small but mighty team that thrives on teamwork, punctuality, and professionalism. We run a tight ship — because in pediatrics, consistency builds trust. If you’re someone who loves kids, learns quickly, and always shows up ready to make a difference, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll Do
Your role goes way beyond assisting. You’ll be a trusted guide for kids who might be nervous about seeing the dentist — explaining procedures in kid-friendly ways, calming fears with a smile (or a blanket), and helping create a space where children feel safe, seen, and supported.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
Assisting the dentist chair-side during cleanings, fillings, crowns, and other treatments
Prepping, sterilizing, and organizing instruments like a pro
Taking X-rays and ensuring top-quality images
Applying fluoride treatments and sealants, and assisting with impressions
Keeping the treatment areas sparkling clean and safe
Comforting young patients and helping them feel confident and calm
Pitching in wherever needed — we’re a true team!
Let’s Talk About Attendance
This job requires consistency, commitment, and reliability.
If you're someone who frequently needs time off, is unsure about your availability, or struggles with punctuality, this may not be the right fit.
Why? Because in a small practice like ours, every team member plays a critical role in the success of the day. We rely on each other 100%, and when one person’s out, it impacts everyone — especially our patients.
