We are a friendly, patient-focused dental practice seeking a New Patient Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for every new patient.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new patients, both in person and over the phone
Schedule new patient appointments and manage the new patient flow
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and required documentation
Explain treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial options clearly and professionally
Coordinate with clinical and front office teams to ensure a seamless patient experience
Follow up with prospective patients and unscheduled treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
Provide exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred (front desk, insurance, or patient coordination)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable discussing insurance, finances, and treatment plans
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-oriented mindset
