About Sunrise Dental Care

Sunrise Dental Care has been caring for families in Boulder, Colorado since 1984. In 2024, Dr. R. Jeffrey Wilkin took over the practice, bringing a lifetime of dentistry experience with him. He grew up in a small town in Illinois, where he started practicing alongside his father, and he and his family moved to Colorado in the early 2000s.

Our practice is a healthy, growing family practice, and it grows every year thanks to our professional yet easy going approach. Dr. Wilkin believes in educating patients, making sure they understand their needs, and letting them choose the care they're comfortable with. No pressure, just good information and good care.

You'd be joining a close team of six who have many years of experience in dentistry and truly love what they do. We work well together, keep our schedule running smoothly, and help each other stay on time for our patients.

The ideal candidate is authentic, warm, and friendly, with a genuine ability to help patients feel comfortable and cared for. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience who is confident in general dentistry hygiene procedures and comfortable working in a fast-paced but well-managed office. Experience with Dentrix is required. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude are essential.

This full-time position offers a four-day work week with a one-hour lunch break each day. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Compensation is $62–$65 per hour, depending on experience and fit.

We offer a strong benefits package that includes vacation time, sick time, holiday pay, a 401(k), medical insurance, vision coverage, and accidental coverage. For your safety and comfort, the office provides disposable gowns, face shields, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Convenient parking is available in a large lot at the building.
