Part time EFDA
LOCATION
Franklin, TNWe are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented dental assistant to join a busy full-time dental practice serving general, oral surgery, and private care patients. The ideal candidate will bring 1 year of EFDA experience and a strong commitment to patient comfort, safety, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking and documenting clinical notes as directed, and supporting smooth patient flow throughout the day. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude are important, as this role involves helping patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit.
The office emphasizes a clean, well-organized, and safety-focused work environment. Personal protective equipment provided includes disposable gowns, face shields, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, regular masks, and respirator masks. A 30-minute lunch break is provided during the workday.
This position is ideal for someone with a high school education who enjoys hands-on clinical work and wants to contribute to a team that values quality care and professionalism. Compensation is competitive at $32–$38 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
