Are you a passionate and skilled dental hygienist looking to be part of a dynamic dental practice? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our general dentistry office on a part-time basis during a current maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on our patients’ oral health while working in a supportive and professional environment.

In this role, you will engage with patients one-on-one, providing high-quality dental hygiene services. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive assessments, periodontal screening, and administering fluoride treatments. You will also play a vital part in patient education, helping individuals understand the importance of good oral hygiene practices.

We are equipped with the latest technology, including CAD/CAM, intraoral cameras, and digital X-rays, allowing you to provide efficient and effective treatment. Our office adheres to strict infection control protocols, and we provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.

The ideal candidate will possess a range of essential skills, including air polishing, scaling and root planing, cavity treatment, and the ability to perform nitrous oxide administration and monitoring. Experience with treatment planning and patient record management using Open Dental software will be considered an asset.

This position offers flexible part-time hours, with a structured lunch break from 1 PM to 2 PM. Each patient visit is typically one hour long, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care and building meaningful relationships with our patients.
