Experienced Dental Assistant
LOCATION
New York, NYOur patient centered dental practice in midtown Manhattan is looking for a bright and energetic dental assistant to be part of a collaborative dental team. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience and be comfortable in all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Superior communication skills and attention to details are essential. We are a fee for service practice with an emphasis on providing the utmost quality in dental care in a friendly and professional environment.
The office is open 4 days/week. You may be asked to come in on a 5th day if necessary.
Salary commensurate with experience and aptitude
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing 4 handed dentistry, chairside support and managing of instruments.
Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to ensure accurate patient care.
Operate 3D scanners and X-ray equipment while adhering to aseptic techniques.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
Support the dental team in various tasks, including sterilization and preparation of dental materials.
Pay is commensurate with experience but typically $29-$35/hr.
Hours are 34-36 hrs/week. We do not work on Tuesday's.
