As a dental hygienist in our practice, you will be responsible for conducting thorough oral hygiene assessments and providing a variety of preventative services. You will have the chance to engage with each patient, allowing you to build trust and educate them on maintaining optimal oral health. With our model of one patient at a time, you will have a full hour to perform cleanings and tailor individual care plans to each patient’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and scale teeth while adhering to best practices in infection control.
- Provide oral health education to patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns about oral hygiene and dental care.
- Utilize your skills to examine patient records and collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized operatory environment.
- Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene practices, technology, and patient care techniques.
We offer a supportive and friendly workplace culture where teamwork is key. As a part-time hygienist (1 to 2 days per week), you'll enjoy predictably scheduled shifts with a one-hour lunch break to recharge. Parking is conveniently available in front of the office, ensuring easy access during your workday.
Compensation for this role ranges from $46 to $53 per hour, depending on your experience level. While previous experience is not required, we value enthusiasm and a commitment to continuous learning.
