Hygienist

We are a growing dental practice seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented dental hygiene professional to join our team on a full-time basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone who values quality patient care, strong clinical standards, and a collaborative work environment. Our practice is a general, single-doctor office serving PPO and private patients, with a focus on personalized care and a calm, efficient patient experience.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care while supporting the overall success of the practice. Responsibilities include performing adult and pediatric prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal charting, oral health assessments, radiographs as indicated, sealant placement, fluoride treatments, and patient education. You will also assist with identifying oral conditions, documenting findings accurately, and communicating treatment recommendations clearly and professionally. We value a hygienist who is comfortable working independently, while also being an engaged member of a small, patient-focused team.

This position is structured to allow for quality care and strong clinical outcomes. You will see one patient at a time and typically spend one hour with each patient, giving you the time needed to deliver thorough treatment and education. A one-hour lunch break is provided during the workday. Because we are committed to maintaining a safe and well-equipped clinical environment, the office supplies disposable gowns, nitrile gloves, and regular masks as part of standard personal protective equipment.

The ideal candidate has a college-level education in dental hygiene, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a professional, caring approach to patient interaction. Experience in a general practice setting is preferred, and familiarity with PPO and private patient care is beneficial. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and enthusiastic about contributing to a growing practice where patient relationships matter.
