Join Our Exceptional Dental Team as a Dental Hygienist!

Red Bank Dentistry, a highly reviewed dental practice with over 100 five-star ratings, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. With a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, we prioritize making our patients feel at home right from the start of their appointments. Dr. Jewell, an accomplished practitioner with over 33 years of experience, leads the way, accompanied by her niece, Dr. Pauline, who joined the practice in 2019.

As a non-corporate general dentistry practice, we provide a diverse array of services—from routine teeth cleanings and periodontal treatments to cosmetic procedures such as teeth whitening, bonding, porcelain veneers, and implants. We are committed to creating healthy smiles that last a lifetime.

What We Offer:
We currently have two shifts available due to the retirement of our long-time dental hygienist. We are looking for a dedicated professional to fill this role. Our hygiene appointments are scheduled for one hour each, allowing you to provide our patients with unparalleled care and attention. The available shifts are:
- Monday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch break)
- Wednesday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure patients feel at ease during their visits.
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and assess oral health history.
- Identify and document conditions such as gingivitis and caries.
- Perform dental cleanings, including plaque removal and fluoride application.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Take X-rays and conduct oral cancer screenings using VELscope.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charts.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist with a minimum of 4 years in general dentistry (1 year of periodontal experience preferred).
- Knowledge of Dentrix, Dexis, and iTero scanner usage is a plus.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered demeanor.
- Attention to detail, with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and a valid license to practice.

At Red Bank Dentistry, we provide our dental hygienists with the necessary personal protective equipment to ensure safety, including disposable gowns, face shields, N95 masks, and more. On-site parking is available for your convenience.

If you are passionate about dental hygiene and dedicated to creating healthy smiles, we invite you to consider joining our caring and skilled team! The salary for this position is negotiable.

I know what it’s like to work for a bad practice. I feel like I wasted 4 years of my professional life. A classmate told me about Cloud Dentistry. In the past 8 months, I have worked in numerous practices, had better instrumentation to practice my craft, and have felt a great sense of respect. It’s amazing to feel free again while earning more money.

I really like the rating system for both the provider and the office so that it provides a brief snapshot of the level of service provided.

I wish I had the option of putting more stars, as I don't think 5 is enough! I can’t thank Cloud Dentistry enough for all the work it's provided me. I love utilizing the user-friendly platform to create my own schedule. The offices I've worked for have been great and I truly do not see myself using any other platform out there. Thank you Cloud Dentistry for helping make my professional future one I'm so proud of. I will be recommending Cloud Dentistry to all of my dental professional friends and family!
