Join Our Relaxed Family Dental Practice as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist!

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and supportive family practice. Our office encapsulates a warm and relaxed atmosphere, making it a welcoming environment for both staff and patients. Our team consists of one doctor, three hygienists, two assistants, and two front desk staff members. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care while maintaining a harmonious workplace.

As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional preventative care to our patients. We schedule one-hour adult prophylaxis appointments for our consistent patients and dedicate one and a half hours for new or more complex cases. Your role will include performing thorough cleanings, assessing periodontal health, and educating patients on effective oral hygiene practices.

We utilize state-of-the-art technology in our practice, including Open Dental software and tools such as DEXIS for digital radiography, Intraoral cameras, Florida Probe, VELscope, and digital panoramic imaging. A strong proficiency in these technologies will be advantageous, particularly with digital radiography. Our practice provides all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including face shields, goggles, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, regular masks, and scrubs, ensuring your safety and comfort as you perform your duties.

Your work schedule will be Monday through Thursday, allowing for a work-life balance that eliminates evening and weekend commitments. We ensure a designated one-hour lunch break to refresh and recharge between patient appointments.

This position has become available due to the retirement of our beloved dental hygienist, and we are eager to find someone who shares our commitment to patient care and teamwork. The salary is negotiable, reflecting the qualifications and experience you bring to our practice.

We are a very relaxed family practice. We have 1 doctor, 3 hygienists, 2 assistants and 2 front desk. We schedule one hour adult prophy's for our consistent patients and 1-1/2 hours for new or difficult patients. We use Open Dental, Dexis, Florida Probe, Itero, Velscope, Intraoral cameras, and digital pano. We provide all PPE including scrubs. We work M-TH with no evenings or weekends!
