Expanded Function Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Tampa, FLWe are seeking a full-time dental assistant for a private, single-doctor general practice dedicated to complete family and cosmetic care. As the original dentist in the Westchase area, our state-of-the-art facility is known for delivering excellent dentistry and outstanding customer service. We value team members who are dependable, compassionate, and eager to support a positive patient experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker and leader type of assistant who thrives and enjoys working alongside a close-knit team. We are looking for someone with 2 years minimum of experience who is comfortable with a wide range of clinical and administrative responsibilities. Cross training is available, and we welcome candidates who are ready to grow within the practice.
Key responsibilities include chairside assistant, four-handed dentistry, dental charting, treatment planning support, radiology, sterilization, infection control, alginate and other impressions, cord packing, temporary crowns, restorative procedures, patient education, data entry, and appointment scheduling. Experience with Dentrix, intraoral cameras, iTero, NOMAD Pro, and digital X-rays is preferred. Additional skills such as whitening tray fabrication, model pouring and trimming, inventory management, and customer service are highly valued.
