DENTAL ASSISTANT
Job description
We are a small, busy private dentist office looking for an RDA/DA to join our team. You must be professional in manner, dedicated and enthusiastic about your position, great with patients and team members, and have attention to detail.
Primary responsibilities to this position are:
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
Prepare treatments rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures.
Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
Provide oral hygiene and post operative instructions as prescribed by doctor.
Record treatment information in patient chart daily.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist will billing of proper procedures
Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety and OSHA guidelines
Participate in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service.
Hours will be 7:20-CLOSED Monday-Thursday
Qualifications: Proven experience as dental assistant is a requirement. Good computer skills and understanding of Eaglesoft, Dexis is a PLUS. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ATTENTION TO DETAIL A MUST. Well-organized and reliable. Ability to handle and maintain a fast paced workload is ideal. Working knowledge of ADA codes and dental procedures. Critical thinking skills and ability to take the initiate is required for this position.

Cassell began his dental career at Loma Linda University, where he received his Doctorate and was recognized for his outstanding performance in oral pathology, anesthesia, and pediatric dentistry. Before getting his dental training, he received his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Pacific Union College, and has been in practice for over 30 years.
He runs a small private practice in the Mission Valley area.
We are open Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm. no weekends.
