Dental Assistant
LOCATION
New York, NYWe are seeking a reliable and motivated full-time team member to support a busy dental office that provides pedodontic and orthodontic care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, teens, and families in a friendly, professional environment. You will help create a positive patient experience while assisting the clinical team with a variety of chairside and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting during procedures, taking and updating patient records, and supporting patient flow throughout the day. You may also help with orthodontic procedures such as bracket and wire changes, taking impressions or scans, and providing oral hygiene instructions. In a pedodontic setting, a calm, encouraging attitude is essential when helping younger patients feel comfortable and at ease.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well as part of a team. Good communication skills and a caring approach are important. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous dental experience is helpful but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to build valuable skills in a supportive, patient-focused dental practice.
