We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our thriving dental practice. Our office is renowned for delivering exceptional dental care, and we prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction in every aspect of our services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive top-notch dental hygiene care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings and scaling and root planing (SRP) procedures to maintain optimal oral health for our patients.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ oral health, providing recommendations for preventive care and treatment plans.
- Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient record management and appointment scheduling, ensuring streamlined operations and effective communication with our team.
- Collaborate closely with dentists in our general and oral surgery practices to deliver comprehensive care, focusing on both cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist in a dental office setting.
- Hold a degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution and possess a valid state license.
- Proficiency in using dental software, particularly Dentrix Ascend.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach to care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
Work Schedule:
This full-time position offers a structured work environment with hours from 9 AM to 6 PM Tuesday through Thursday, and 9 AM to 3 PM on Friday. Enjoy a 1-hour lunch break each day and see one patient at a time, spending approximately 1 hour with each individual to ensure personalized care.
