We are a small, established private practice nestled in the heart of Enumclaw, dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where our patients feel like family. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional dental care with a personal touch. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly practice on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing top-quality patient care. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Performing thorough dental cleanings, including calculus removal, prophylaxis, and scaling and root planing.
- Conducting comprehensive periodontal screenings and gingivitis screenings to assess and monitor patients' gum health.
- Utilizing advanced dental technology such as ultrasonic scaling to ensure efficient and effective treatment.
- Administering local anesthesia and monitoring patients receiving nitrous oxide sedation for a comfortable experience.
- Providing invaluable oral hygiene instruction and patient education tailored to the individual needs of each patient, including pediatric hygiene practices.
- Maintaining accurate dental charting and records in Dentrix to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care.
- Implementing patient recall systems to encourage regular visits and promote long-term oral health.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

- A valid dental hygiene license and CPR certification.
- Proficiency in calculus removal, periodontal care, and oral cancer screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for patient education and a gentle approach to care.
- Experience in a multi-doctor environment or with PPO and private practice.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

This part-time position offers flexible hours, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life. You will typically work 1 day a week, 2 days optional, seeing one patient at a time, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and care they deserve.
