The Role

This is a **hybrid role** primarily based at the front desk, with the ability to support the clinical team when needed.

The Patient Care Coordinator is the **first and last impression** of our practice and plays a critical role in building trust, increasing case acceptance, and creating a seamless patient experience.

You will guide patients from their first phone call through scheduling, financial conversations, and follow-up—while also being capable of stepping into the clinical area to support when needed.

This is not a passive front desk role. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and driven to operate at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office (Primary Focus)

* Answer phones with warmth, confidence, and professionalism
* Convert incoming calls into scheduled appointments
* Manage scheduling to maximize productivity and flow
* Clearly communicate treatment plans, financial options, and next steps
* Build trust with patients through clear, empathetic communication
* Follow up on unscheduled treatment and pending cases
* Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling systems

Clinical Support (As Needed)

* Assist clinical team during busy periods or call-outs
* Help with operatory turnover and patient flow
* Support basic assisting tasks (based on experience and certification)
* Ensure a seamless handoff between front and back

* Experience discussing treatment or financials with patients
* Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc.)
