Registered Dental Assistant

LOCATION
Walnut Creek, CA

Seeking two skilled, friendly Registered Dental Assistants (RDA's) to provide top-tier care to our patients. The position is three days a week in Walnut Creek: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Qualifications:
Valid California CDA/RDA License Required.
Radiation Safety Certification (X-ray).
8-Hour Infection Control Certification.
Coronal Polish & Sealant Certificates.
CPR/BLS Certification.
Experience with Dentrix software preferred.

Duties include:
Setting up and cleaning up operatories
Taking digital x-rays
Digital charting in Dentrix
Using computers to update electronic patient records
Assisting chair-side
Impressions & temporary fabrication
Assisting with lab tasks as needed
Light office cleaning
Occasional fielding of phone calls
Assisting with front office tasks as needed

Infection Control:
Follow osha guidelines
Strict sterilization standards to be maintained
Sanitizing, disinfecting, & cleaning all work areas
Hand hygiene, use of gloves, gown, mask, eye protection, or face shield
Plastic shield at work stations
Personal protective equipment provided
