We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dental hygienist to join our dynamic team at our patient-centered dental office. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional oral healthcare within a welcoming and supportive environment. We believe that professionalism, compassion, and collaboration are key to ensuring every patient receives personalized care tailored to their needs.
As a full-time dental hygienist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality oral care across various specialties, including General Dentistry, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Endodontics. This diverse exposure will allow you to expand your skills and expertise while working collaboratively with our single-doctor practice.
Core Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting oral health screenings and charting periodontal conditions, performing teeth cleaning (prophylaxis), scaling, and root planing. You will apply sealants, fluoride treatments, and polish restorations, while also taking and interpreting dental X-rays. In addition, you'll administer local anesthetics as permitted by law and guide patients in proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition for optimal oral health. Educating patients on preventing gum disease and cavities will also be a key part of your role.
Support for Dentists:
Collaboration with our dentists is essential. You will assist during dental procedures, prepare patients for treatment, and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring a seamless experience for both the patient and the provider.
Work Environment and Benefits:
Our office values work-life balance; you will enjoy a 1-hour lunch break, and all parking is free and conveniently available. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $55 to $60 per hour, based on experience, along with benefits including paid time off (PTO), bonuses, and raises.
