**🦷 Full-Time Dental Assistant – Edgewater Dental | Sugar Land, TX**

Edgewater Dental is growing, and we’re looking for an **energetic, dependable, and personable Dental Assistant** to join our team!

We are looking for someone who takes pride in patient care, enjoys working as part of a strong clinical team, and wants to continue learning and developing their skills. Our office provides a wide variety of dental treatment, giving the right assistant an opportunity to gain experience well beyond basic general dentistry.

### What We’re Looking For

* Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
* Dental assisting experience preferred, but **motivated newer assistants are encouraged to apply**
* Friendly, professional, and confident with patients
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Dependable and able to work well with a team
* Comfortable assisting with general and surgical dental procedures
* Strong infection-control and sterilization habits
* Willingness to learn new procedures and technology
* Ability to anticipate the doctor's needs and keep procedures running efficiently
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic

### What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities may include:

* Chairside assisting for restorative and general dentistry
* Assisting with implant and surgical procedures
* Preparing treatment rooms and instruments
* Taking digital radiographs
* Sterilization and infection control
* Taking impressions and/or digital scans
* Reviewing post-operative instructions with patients
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
* Helping manage clinical inventory and supplies
* Providing patients with an excellent experience from start to finish
