Certified Pediatric Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Newton, MAWe are seeking a dependable, energetic dental assistant to join our growing practice focused on pedodontics and orthodontics. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, supports a positive patient experience, and is comfortable in a fast-paced dental office. One year of experience is required.
Responsibilities include assisting chairside for pediatric patients, polishing teeth, placing sealants, supporting special needs patients, and helping with daily clinical and administrative tasks. You will also assist with appointment scheduling, patient care, patient education, patient records, and infection control. Experience with Dentrix, DEXIS, iTero, NOMAD Pro, Cavitron, and Zoom Whitening is preferred, along with CPR certification and strong oral hygiene instruction skills.
Candidates should be professional, organized, and able to communicate clearly with both children and parents. The ideal applicant takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment and follows proper PPE and safety protocols, including N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.
We offer a 1-hour lunch break, parking in a nearby lot for $5/day, and a supportive workplace with PTO, paid sick leave, medical insurance, discounted dental care, and paid holidays. Compensation is $26–$32 per hour, based on experience. High school education or equivalent is expected. No cross-training required.
