Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, highly professional Four-Handed Dental Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on dental assisting experience. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, digital proficiency, and confidence in communicating treatment recommendations and financial information clearly and professionally.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and organized individual who thrives in a quality-driven clinical setting.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hands-on dental assisting experience
Strong four-handed dentistry skills
Experience with iTero scanning and digital workflows
Experience operating dental imaging equipment including X-ray units and 3D scanners
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Skilled in chairside assisting across multiple specialties including:
General Dentistry
Endodontics
Prosthodontics
Pediatric Dentistry
Oral Surgery
Knowledgeable in infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures
Ability to document medical information accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Computer literate and comfortable learning new systems
Clear and professional written and verbal English communication skills required for patient care and treatment discussions
Comfortable presenting treatment plans and discussing associated costs with patients
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
Reliable and punctual
Responsibilities
Chairside assisting using advanced four-handed dentistry techniques
iTero scanning and digital workflow support
Operating X-ray and 3D imaging equipment
Preparing and maintaining operatories to high clinical standards
Strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols
Accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards
Managing clinical supplies and maintaining organized workspaces
Supporting smooth patient flow and maintaining a calm clinical environment
Presenting treatment plans as directed by the doctor
Explaining procedures, benefits, and associated costs clearly and confidently
Reinforcing treatment recommendations and supporting case acceptance
