Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – General & Family Dentistry
Cloud Dental Austin | Austin, TX
About Cloud Dental Austin
At Cloud Dental, we believe that high-quality dentistry should be approachable, comfortable, and family-friendly. Our practice is built on providing a "cloud-like" experience for our patients—low stress, high care, and exceptional results. We are looking for an energetic and professional Dental Assistant to join our growing team and help us provide top-tier care to the Austin community.
The Role
As an RDA at Cloud Dental, you are the heart of the patient experience. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, modern environment where variety is the norm. One hour you might be assisting with a pediatric cleaning, and the next, helping Dr. Samani with a restorative crown or a dental implant consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Assisting: Provide chairside assistance for a wide range of procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and basic oral surgery.
Patient Connection: Welcome patients and make them feel at ease, explaining procedures clearly and answering questions with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Digital Excellence: Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral scans (Itero/CBCT experience is a plus).
Practice Flow: Manage room turnover, sterilization, and supply tracking to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
Lab Work: Coordinate with dental labs and manage temporary crown fabrication.
What We’re Looking For
A People Person: You genuinely enjoy interacting with patients of all ages, from kids to seniors.
Adaptability: You thrive in a dynamic "general dentistry" environment where no two days are exactly the same.
Technical Skill: Solid experience as an RDA with a strong grasp of general dental clinical protocols.
Team Player: You’re always willing to jump in and help a teammate to ensure the best patient care.
