We are a private dental office dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant practice for a part-time position.

This role is available because our current hygienist is on maternity leave, creating an exciting opportunity for a new team member to step in and support our patients. The position is flexible, allowing you to choose one day a week to work from Monday through Thursday. We understand the importance of work-life balance and aim to provide a supportive environment for our staff.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our patients' dental health through a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

- Conducting oral cancer screenings and periodontal assessments
- Performing prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures
- Administering local anesthesia and managing nitrous oxide for patient comfort
- Educating patients on effective oral hygiene practices
- Documenting detailed patient records and treatment plans

To excel in this role, you should possess strong skills in antibiotic therapy, bleaching, calculus removal, and patient education. Experience with the latest technology, such as Carestream and intraoral cameras, is highly valued. You will also be CPR certified and proficient in vital signs monitoring.

Our office provides essential personal protective equipment (PPE) including latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, ensuring your safety and that of our patients. We offer a supportive team atmosphere with lunch breaks scheduled for one hour to allow you the downtime you deserve.
