Hygienist for Monday and Thursday

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our growing, family-owned practice. For 36 years, our team has provided high-quality care in a welcoming environment where every patient is treated like family. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a college-educated professional who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and building lasting patient relationships.

Our practice combines general dentistry with a broad range of services, including pedodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and single-doctor private care. You will work alongside 1 doctor, 3 dental assistants, 3 hygienists, and 2 front desk team members in a modern office equipped with state-of-the-art technology designed to support efficient, high-quality treatment.

Responsibilities include performing thorough hygiene procedures and supporting comprehensive patient care. Duties will involve prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, cavitron use, periodontal screening, treatment planning, oral cancer screening, fluoride treatment, bleaching, and oral hygiene instruction. Additional clinical support may include chair side assistance, four-handed dentistry, impressions, dental charting, patient education, patient recall, vital signs monitoring, and sterile procedures. Experience with local anesthesia, nitrous oxide administration and monitoring, and digital imaging is valued, along with familiarity with CAD/CAM, Cerec restorations, Schick, NOMAD Pro, and fixed and removable prosthodontics. Knowledge of implants, bone grafting, and endodontic-related care is a plus.

You will see one patient at a time, allowing time for quality care and a personalized experience. Appointments are typically scheduled for 50 minutes with recall patients and 1 hour with new patients. A 1-hour lunch break is provided each day.

We maintain a safe and professional work environment with disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks available for staff use. Our office also offers a large parking lot for convenience.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in dental hygiene. We offer vacation days and a negotiable salary or hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
