We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygiene professional to join a growing, friendly dental practice committed to high-quality, efficient care. Our modern office is designed to support a smooth workflow and an excellent patient experience, with digital radiography, an intraoral scanner, and a panoramic radiograph machine helping to streamline diagnostics and treatment planning. We serve a diverse patient base and provide care in a general, single-doctor setting with a balanced mix of Medicaid and PPO coverage.
This full-time position is ideal for a detail-oriented, college-educated dental professional who values organization, patient education, and teamwork. You will play an essential role in promoting oral health, helping patients feel comfortable, and supporting the clinical team in delivering consistently excellent care. The schedule is steady and well-organized, allowing you to focus on quality treatment and meaningful patient interactions.
Responsibilities include performing comprehensive hygiene procedures such as prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing as appropriate, and taking diagnostic imaging when indicated. You will also provide individualized oral hygiene instruction, document findings accurately, and help reinforce preventive care recommendations. A strong understanding of periodontal health, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with patients of different backgrounds are highly valued.
The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and confident working in a fast-paced but well-structured environment. Strong interpersonal skills are important, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with the doctor and clinical team to ensure high standards of care. Experience with modern dental technology is helpful, though a willingness to learn and adapt is equally important.
We maintain a clean, professional, and safety-focused workplace. Personal protective equipment provided includes nitrile gloves and regular masks, supporting routine clinical protection during patient care.
If you are looking for a full-time opportunity in a supportive general dental setting where efficiency, quality, and patient-focused care are top priorities, this may be an excellent fit for your skills and professional goals.
