At My DFW Dentist, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dental care in a warm, patient-focused environment. We are seeking a highly experienced and personable "Dental Practice Builder" to build a dental team, while ensuring our patients receive the care they need with clarity, compassion, and efficiency.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delegating assignments, managing staff and patient relations, along with maintaining office and staff compliance. Your excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for our patients while ensuring smooth office operations.
To thrive in this position, you should possess at least 10 years of experience as a dental office manager in a general, private dental office setting. This position requires proficiency in Open Dental and strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a background in dental office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties
Managing patient services and staff coordination
Overseeing business operations and financial management
Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
Staff Management
Hiring, training, and supervising office staff
Conducting performance evaluations and staff meetings
Patient Relations
Addressing patient inquiries and concerns
Implementing patient satisfaction initiatives
Marketing and Communication
Managing marketing efforts to attract new patients
Coordinating communication between staff and patients
Other Responsibilities may include (when needed):
Scheduling & Front Office Coordination
Manage and optimize the daily schedule for hygiene and doctor appointments
Confirm appointments and follow up on cancellations or no-shows
Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Open Dental
Treatment Planning & Case Presentation
Review treatment plans with patients, ensuring they understand procedures, timelines, and financial options
Present treatment costs and assist with insurance benefit breakdowns
Follow up on pending treatment and unscheduled cases
Coordinate specialist referrals when needed
Insurance & Financial Coordination
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments
Submit pre-authorizations and assist with appeals when necessary
Discuss payment options, financing plans, and collect co-pays or deposits
