Position: Registered Dental Hygienist
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, focusing on preventive measures and education. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Compensation: Daily rate $540-$600 (8 hours shift), compensation is based on experience.
Employment Type: Part-time W2
Work Schedule: No weekends, 3 days preferred per week - a minimum of 2 days required per week, and 8 hours per shift, work hours 8:15am – 5:15pm.
Duties
• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
• Assess and record vital signs as part of patient evaluations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix Ascend (software training is available).
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive care for patients.
• Implement infection control protocols in accordance with established guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and instruments in accordance with infection control standards.

Qualifications
• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of California.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

For our office, on your first working day, you will either be paid a check/1099 at the end of your shift or added to the office payroll/W2. Dr. Paul Griffith, the 3rd generation Griffith Sunnyvale dentist and was born and raised locally. His two daughters followed the family path and share their passion of providing quality dental care.

Dr. Amy is the 4th generation Griffith Sunnyvale dentist and has particular expertise in cosmetic and emergency treatment. For 30+ years, Dr. Paul has gone to numerous seminars, now along with Dr. Amy, and consults with different specialists to develop unique ways to treat those with fears, anxiety, highly complex needs, and special needs. Their goal is to gather a group of doctors who share the same passion and interests to take on challenges, better their skills, and help more patients.

In 2013, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Shuba Anantha to our office. Dr. Shuba practiced in Chicago for 10 years before moving to the Bay Area. Her breadth of expertise, calm nature, and creative problem-solving have made her an incredible provider to our patients.
