Registered Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Silver Spring, MDWe are a growing general dental practice seeking a dependable, motivated Dental Assistant to join our private office. This full-time position is ideal for someone who values excellent patient care, teamwork, and continued professional growth. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, attentive to detail, and able to anticipate the needs of both the doctor and patients.
Responsibilities include chairside assisting during a wide variety of procedures, preparing treatment rooms and instruments, taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos, performing iTero scans, and assisting with Invisalign treatment. You will also support infection control and sterilization protocols, maintain accurate clinical records, educate patients on post-operative and home-care instructions, and help keep treatment rooms stocked and prepared throughout the day.
Additional responsibilities may include temporary crown fabrication, laboratory support, and assisting with restorative, endodontic, oral surgery, and implant procedures.
A Maryland Radiology Certification is required. Experience with Open Dental, dental charting, four-handed dentistry, impressions, iTero scanning, and dental terminology is a plus. However, we are willing to train the right new graduate who demonstrates strong potential, reliability, initiative, and a great attitude.
We believe in teamwork and cross-training, so all team members should be comfortable learning and supporting multiple areas of the practice.
Compensation & Benefits
$25–$34 per hour, based on experience and skill level

Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday include a 1–2 pm lunch. Fridays run until 2 pm with no lunch break.
