We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic and patient‑focused dental practice. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth daily operations, support the dentist during a wide range of procedures, and contribute to an exceptional patient experience. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control.
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred. Orthodontic experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures including endodontics, fillings, crowns, and other restorative treatments
Assist with oral surgery, including extractions and surgical setups
Support orthodontic procedures and workflows as needed
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are ready
Take and develop dental X‑rays while following proper safety protocols
Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment instructions
Perform and uphold strict infection control procedures
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling and acting as a dental receptionist when needed
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and smooth workflow throughout the clinic
Operate intraoral scanners, digital scanning systems, and 3D printers used in dental workflows
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
Proficiency in general dental assisting techniques
Experience in orthodontics is a plus
Familiarity with oral surgery assisting preferred
Experience with 3D printing technology and digital scanning systems highly preferred
Strong understanding of infection control protocols
Ability to operate dental equipment, including X‑ray machines, safely and effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational abilities and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment
Spanish‑speaking ability is a plus, but not required
