We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Hygiene Dental Assistant to become an essential part of our dynamic and growing dental practice. Our office is committed to excellence in general and restorative dentistry, delivering high-quality care and patient education in a modern, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

As a Hygiene Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care while utilizing the latest dental technology. Responsibilities include assisting during hygiene and select clinical procedures, taking diagnostic digital X-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Additional responsibilities include managing proper “dirty-to-clean” instrument workflow, operating and maintaining autoclaves, sterilizing handpieces, monitoring sterilization equipment with weekly biological indicators, ensuring proper PPE usage, and maintaining all required sterilization and compliance records. You will also support front desk operations as needed.

Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach are essential to successfully meet patient needs and create a positive experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years of dental assisting experience required
Expanded Duties Certification preferred
Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, CAESY) is a plus
Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish-speaking, are encouraged to apply
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
