We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic and patient-focused team in our general dental practice located in New Milford , CT. This part-time WEDNESDAYS ONLY position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in our patient's oral health journey while working in a comfortable and professional environment.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include performing thorough dental cleanings, conducting periodontal assessments, taking dental radiographs, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. You will have the chance to build strong relationships with patients, helping them understand the importance of preventive care.
Our office prides itself on maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. We see one patient at a time, allowing you to spend approximately one hour with each individual. This approach not only enhances the patient experience but also provides you with the time needed to deliver high-quality care and education.
To ensure your safety and that of our patients, we provide essential personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes disposable gowns, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. The comfort and safety of our team members are our top priorities.
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in a dental hygiene role, demonstrating a deep understanding of dental practices and excellent patient interaction skills. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathize with patients will be key to fostering trust and ensuring their comfort during visits.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $57-$60 depending on experience. You will benefit from on-site parking, and while lunch breaks are unpaid, we provide a one-hour break to recharge.
