Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA)
LOCATION
Fountain, COFountain Dental Center is an established family dental practice located south of Colorado Springs that has been serving our community for over 20 years! We are seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join us full-time, Monday-Friday. We work with a fantastic team that is positive, believes in teamwork, and is passionate about providing exceptional dental care. Schedule: Monday 8:45am-2:15pm, Tuesday-Friday 8:45am-4:15pm
Compensation: $28-$32/hr, plus attainable bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
*Assist the dentist chairside
*Genuinely welcome patients into the practice
*Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
*A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
*Set up and break down of operatories
*Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory
*Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
*Provide post-operative instructions
*Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
*Stock supplies, order supplies, and any additional duties as necessary
*EDDA duties-placing fillings, fabricating temp crowns and seating crowns
Qualifications:
*4+ years of experience as a chariside dental assistant
*2+ years of experience as an EDDA
*X-Ray Certification required
*Active CPR/BLS Certification required
*EDDA Certification is preferred
*Certified Dental Assistant preferred
*Denticon experience is a plus but is not required
