You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality preventative care while enhancing our patient's oral health. Our ideal candidate is not only skilled in various dental hygiene practices but also possesses the compassion required to educate and motivate patients toward optimal oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
- Perform scaling and root planing, gingivitis screening, and periodontal treatments.
- Carry out oral cancer screenings and provide oral hygiene instruction for patients of all ages, including pediatric hygiene.
- Utilize advanced technologies, including digital radiography and intraoral cameras, to support patient treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide essential patient education on oral health topics.
Qualifications:
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state.
- Proficiency in essential skills, including prophylaxis, local anesthesia, and ultrasonic scaling.
- Experience with a wide range of dental treatments—experience with Invisalign and removable prosthodontics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude.
