Dental Hygienist Full Time

We're seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and energetic Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. About Acton Smile Hub:
Acton Smile Hub is a busy, patient-centered practice providing comprehensive family dentistry for all ages in a comfortable and home-like atmosphere. Our team utilizes advanced dental technology and is dedicated to continuous learning, with access to Spear Education videos and training to enhance skills and stay current with the latest techniques.

Schedule:
Full-Time:
• Monday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Tuesday (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, except summer months is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Thursday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM).

Registered Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:
• Under the general supervision of the dentist, improve the oral health of our patients by providing quality dental care and hygiene services, including:
• Prophylaxis (1-hour appointments)
• Applying fluoride and protective sealants
• Digital intraoral radiography
• Scaling and root planning (90-minute appointments)
• Debridement and other periodontal maintenance procedures
• Assist the dentist and other staff in a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties as needed.
• Ensure all patients enjoy a positive experience and are treated with care and compassion.
• Interact positively with patients to provide comprehensive information and education about oral hygiene, addressing and resolving patient concerns with enthusiasm and empathy.
• Ensure all patient records and related documentation are managed and maintained promptly, accurately, and consistently with all HIPAA and related regulations and requirements.
Registered Dental Hygienist Qualifications:
• Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with MA state licensure (required).
• Current CPR and radiation safety certification (required).
• Certification to administer local anesthesia (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A drive for continuous learning and a passion for periodontics.
• Strong computer skills (required; experience with technologically advanced practices).
• A commitment to preventative and comprehensive patient care and education.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
