Join Our Family Owned Private General Dental Practice as a Part Time Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated, patient-focused dental hygienist to join our growing general dental practice. This part time opportunity is ideal for a professional who values quality care, strong communication, and a collaborative team environment. In this role, you will play an important part in helping patients maintain optimal oral health through preventive care, patient education, and clinical support.
The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate approach to care, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently while also contributing to a supportive and efficient dental team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling and root planning, periodontal maintenance, and prophylaxis procedures according to established office protocols
- Take dental radiographs as needed and perform periodontal probing.
- Complete oral health assessments and document findings accurately
- Assist in the prevention and early detection of oral disease
- Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and home care techniques
- Review diagnosed treatment recommendations and reinforce the importance of scheduling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared clinical environment
- Follow all infection control, sterilization, and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with dentists and team members to ensure high-quality patient care
-Familiar with Dentrix and Dexis (Nomad)
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in dental hygiene or equivalent accredited training
- Current dental hygiene licensure in good standing
- Strong knowledge of preventive oral health care and clinical hygiene procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build trust and comfort with patients of all ages
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Professionalism, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
